Skippack Township officials have issued an immediate Burn Ban due to heightened fire risk conditions. Effective today, all outdoor burning is prohibited until further notice. This includes open fires, burning of yard debris, and any other activity involving open flames.
The ban is being implemented as a precautionary measure to protect residents, property, and emergency responders amid dry conditions and an increased threat of accidental fires.
Township officials will continue to monitor conditions and will lift the ban once it is safe to do so. Updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
