Skippack Township is pleased to announce it has been awarded $103,966 through the Act 13 Greenways, Trails & Recreation Grant Program to support continued improvements to the Skippack Trail System.
The grant funding will be used to rehabilitate a section of the trail between Kratz Road and Collegeville Road, helping to enhance safety, accessibility, and overall enjoyment for residents and visitors who use the trail for recreation and transportation.
The Township extends its sincere thanks to State Representative Matthew Bradford and State Senator Tracy Pennycuick for their continued support of Skippack Township’s ongoing infrastructure and recreation projects. Their advocacy played an important role in securing this funding, which will help preserve and improve one of the community’s valued recreational assets.
