Skippack Township officials would like to inform residents of upcoming roadwork scheduled over the next three weeks as part of an initiative to improve accessibility and pedestrian safety throughout the community.

Beginning this week, crews will be working to install Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant ramps along several residential streets. The improvements are designed to enhance mobility for all residents, including those with disabilities, and to bring existing infrastructure up to current accessibility standards.

The streets included in this project are:

  • Victoria Drive
  • Erin Court
  • Christina Court
  • Skipview Lane
  • Windgate Drive
  • Iron Bridge Drive
  • Mockingbird Lane
  • Tranquility Street
  • Andrew Court

Residents may experience temporary inconveniences, including lane closures, construction noise, and limited on-street parking during active work hours. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to use caution when traveling through construction zones and to follow all posted signage and crew directions.

Township officials appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as these important improvements are completed. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be finished within three weeks.

For questions or additional information, residents are encouraged to contact the Skippack Township office.
