Road Work

Skippack Township Begins 2025 Road Improvement Projects

Skippack Township is beginning a series of road improvement projects scheduled from mid-June through early July, including resurfacing and sealing on several key roads. The work, which begins June 12, aims to improve road conditions and extend the life of township infrastructure.

Ongoing & Upcoming Projects:

  • Paving Township Line Road (June 12–17):
Crews began repaving Township Line Road between Collegeville Road (Route 29) and River Road on June 12. The project is expected to conclude by June 17, weather permitting. Motorists can expect lane closures and delays during active work hours.
  • Road Sealing (June 13):
Sealing work will be performed on the following roads:
Heiser Road, Center Road, Ivy Lane, Thompson Road, and Detwiler Road.
This maintenance will protect pavement and reduce future repair needs.
  • Paving on Perkiomen Creek Road (June 18–24):
From June 18 to June 24, paving will take place along Perkiomen Creek Road, between Route 73 and Creekwood Village. Drivers should prepare for alternating traffic patterns and possible delays.
  • Paving in Skippack Ridge Development (June 24–July 2):
The final phase of this scheduled work will run from June 24 through July 2, focusing on:
Mountain Top Drive, Buck Hollow Road, Mesa Lane, and Mount Laurel Circle.
