Base Repair Begins This Week on Old Forty Foot Road in Towamencin Township

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that base repair is scheduled on Old Forty Foot Road in Towamencin Township, Montgomery County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Thursday, July 18, through Friday, July 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Old Forty Foot Road will be closed weekdays between Route 73 (Skippack Pike) and Route 63 (Sumneytown Pike). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 63 (Sumneytown Pike), Bustard Road, and Route 73 (Skippack Pike).

Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
