Skippack Township was honored to join in celebrating a remarkable milestone for one of our community’s most impactful organizations. Sebastian Riding Associates, a cornerstone of therapeutic support in our region, marked 50 years of dedicated service to children and adults living with a wide range of physical, cognitive, and mental health challenges.
During this special celebration, Melissa Retano, District Office Director for Representative Matt Bradford, attended on behalf of the representative to present an official citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Accepting the citation on behalf of Sebastian Riding Associates were Bannie Stewart, Founder; Chris Hanebury, Executive Director; and Frank Viall, President of the Board of Directors.
For 50 years, Sebastian Riding Associates has provided therapeutic riding and horsemanship programs that promote growth, healing, and connection. Their mission is supported by a comprehensive set of goals that focus on:
