About & Members
Skippack Township is governed by a five-member elected Board of Supervisors. As described in the Second Class Township Code, the Board of Supervisors is charged with the general governance of the Township and the execution of legislative, executive, and administrative powers in order to ensure sound fiscal management and to secure the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the Township.
Paul Fox
Chairman
I have been a member of the BOS since 2012, Vice-Chair since 2014, and Chairman since 2024. Prior to my time as a Township Supervisor, I served on the Skippack Park Board for 5 years. My favorite contributions have been in preserving Open Space, developing Parks and Trails, and enabling all the wonderful events we have in Skippack.
Nick Fountain
Vice-Chair
Being a lifelong resident of Skippack Township and now raising my three children here, it is the honor of a lifetime to serve as Supervisor. Our township is strong, vibrant, and resilient; and my hope is to ensure Skippack remains the greatest small town in America for all future generations!
Barbara McGinnis
I have been blessed to call Skippack my home for the last 36 years. Through those years I have established and built my business at Three Diamonds Stable and saw changes to areas of our community. This was one of the reasons I ran for Supervisor, to continue to keep the charm and history of Skippack balanced with new ideas. I'm proud that my colleagues and I have accomplished that and will continue to do so for the community.
Marian Ellis
Marian Ellis had a 43-year career with Merck & Co, Inc., the majority of which was spent in Compliance. She is a responsible and ethical proven leader. Marian managed multiple employees while overseeing budgets and employee development. Marian is a 6-year resident of Skippack and very active in her community. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of a local charity, Caring Hearts Close to Home. Marian is very excited to serve on the Skippack Township Board of Supervisors. She is a great listener and problem solver and will bring all of her work-life skills to address the needs of the community.
Karen Lynch
Karen Lynch, a resident of Skippack for over 25 years, has strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills honed by a 34 - year career with Energizer in sales, marketing, and global business development. Karen is very excited to bring her business background and energy to the role of Township Supervisor.
“I look forward to working with my colleagues on the Board and our residents to address concerns and thoughtfully plan for our future. Skippack has a unique history, beautiful parks and natural lands that make it such a great place to call home.”
